Tell me which is your body shape and I'll tell you if you can wear the 50's SKIRT

Before starting, however, I would like to make a couple of premises.
The first: look at the photos below and tell me, in all honesty, which type of woman you prefer, the one on the left or the other.
Then do the same question, if you can, to the first male you have at hand.
If you want to share his answer, for the women who had no men near, let's make a first mini-statistic on this theme.

Second consideration: looking at the following outfits, which do you prefer between the size-hiding clothing, whatever are the size, and the skirt with blouse?

Now, after seeing these images, I don't know what are your conclusions, and if you want to write them I'd really like it, but I basically think this:

  • Being self-aware, master of that ease and confidence that fascinates regardless of weight, size or shape and curves (which, moreover, men appreciate more than a bones's skeleton!). So it is clear that the real issue is not the silhouette but rather the consideration of oneself, that is one's self-esteem. But since this is not the competence area of Sheside, I leave to you this starting point, that you could evaluate if of your interest in deepening it with those of competence.
  • Hiding inside shapeless tents not only communicates insecurity but also hides pleasant parts of our body, which distinguish us, such as the neckline for example, or the legs, which should instead be enhanced. Underlining, with the right clothing, the softness of your curves is pure and irresistible femininity.

Of course, the sensitivity of feeling comfortable with one garment, rather than another, is absolutely personal, but sometimes we women are very good at precluding ourselves from changing, simply by not even trying (and not just in clothing).
We do it simply by belittling ourselves a priori… after all we have been used to doing it since we were children!!
Now, that we are adults, we could also allow us some opportunities, aren't we?

At the end, ascertained that, at times, the blinders of our preconceived ideas do not give us the freedom to leave the comfort zone of shapeless and unstructured maxi sweaters to bring our appearance closer to what we would like to have, the best clothing to wear is that with which you feel good, regardless of your curves, size, fashion of the moment or the advice of the best known influencer.
And the 50's skirt , in particular, find in the waistline the only limit to get inside, is for all women who feel beautiful wearing it... It is really for everyone: if the weight is on the hips and legs, "A" cut skirts are perfect, preferably in dark colors or small patterns, combined with V-neck tops that streamline the whole figure.
